SPEkTR: B/W vs. Technicolor CD packaging
This is a really fun album of SoundTrack N' Roll from Denmark's SPEkTR (not to be confused with the French metal band Spektr, watch those caps!) The composer/ bandleader Manoj Ramdas said he wanted something remniscent of those old tapes we had with endless late night movies recorded over each other so many times that the old signals bleed through. I had some ancient tapes around, so I took a very literal approach. We made a digipak CD and an LP, which I won't show because the printers took a big ole dump all over it.

SPEkTR: B/W vs. Technicolor
CD packaging for SPEkTR.
We also did an LP, but the printers destroyed it. No proofs. The LP looks like it sat on a shelf collecting dust for 20 years, which might be appropriate, I suppose.

We had this old tape sitting around our house. It seemed perfect for the video-vibe.
